Yesterday was the day, that by the end of the day all of the BG's Athletes have finally had a chance to compete. And compete they did indeed. Two levels competed and those were the Natonal Open division (William Albert and Geoff Rellis) and the Senior division (Kevin Lytwyn). Among some of the highlights was a Silver for William Albert with his Pommel routine and Kevin Lytwyn placing First in Parallel Bars, Silver medal in High Bar and 4th overall on Vault. Outstanding results.

This is Kevins' 1st year competing among many of the best in Canada. These results also earned Kevin 5th Overall in the Senior Mens division. Casey Sandy who also was representing Burlington BG's on the Ontario Team performed outstanding routines that earned him Gold Medal Overall across Canada. These were the individual results which also propelled Ontario as reigning champions in the National Open and Senior Mens divisions. Results as they come in can be viewed online at the National and Elite Scores web site.

Here we have the National Open Ontario team who took 1st place Gold Medal in the Provincial Team standing. Outstanding performance by each and every one of these young men.

This photo captures the men of the Canadian National Seniors Team. Congratulations Kevin, for today, you have shown your ability to compete with the finest in Canada and come out ahead. Shown here are other Canadian Gymnasts such as Adam Wong, Brandon O'Neill, Ken Ikeda and many others. For more information on this and many other stories please see the CGC web site stories page
