Fun had by all at this years Childrens Festival

Photos curtousy of Johnathan Garfield of Fine Art Media
What a great day it was.
Thank you for all your support in making our initial representation at the Burlington Children’s festival a successful one. Of course, its level of success is unknown, but rest assured we had hundreds if not a few thousand children on our mats yesterday. With many parents asking for program schedules, I was delighted to hear from our volunteers that the parents were very interested in signing their children up. My hope is our representation has attracted NEW children to our club to compliment those who are already planning to sign up.
I cannot stress enough how important it was that you assisted with this event and I thank you on behalf of the children, parents, board members and staff of our club, who all want to ensure that BG’s is able to offer the best training and accessibility to that training for anyone who wants to pursue Gymnastics no matter what their age.
Here are some pictures that were taken of at the event. Should anyone have others, I am collecting for these for future programs and display. Please let me know.
Thank you
Ken

Burlington Children's Festival
When: This Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm
Where: Spencer Smith Park, Burlington.
Why: To promote your son and/or daughters' favorite sport. To tell the 20,000+ attendees that gymnastic is a sport that offers children and adults an alternative to traditional activities all the while helping children to become more focused and self aware.
We need your assistance:Anyone who has a knack with putting together a 20 to 30 minute video with popular preteen music dubbed over the video, along with some text labelling would be of great help. We can supply you with the video as well as the music selection if neccessary.
This video production would be cycled on a laptop during the event for those who appeal to watching. Clips need to include video from youtube and personal sources of our members. If you would be interested in this job, any hours put forth for this production would be credited toward your volunteer committment. I am hoping you will see personal benefits of this opportunity as well.
As well, if others can offer any video recording of their children for possible inclusion into this video please contact Ken Mascola
We are also looking for children and teen athletes to provide safe, supervised exposure to the thousands of impressionable children who will be attending.
More information regarding this event can be obtained through our club or at the following web page Burlington Childrens Festival.
We are also looking for more Adult volunteers. It is going to be a great sunny day, and we will be protected from the sun under a canopy. If you are interested please call the office (905) 634-0310 or email Julia
A great family event with a little something for everyone - crafts, activity areas, play zones and much more. Entertainers for the day include: Splash 'N Boots, BMX Bike Show, CLaroL the CLown, and Craig Douglas! A day of fun you don't want to miss. Don't forget to check out the Children's Marketplace full of children's related products and services for sale.
